| This is a high quality brass barometer, a perfect weather predicting instrument for any boat. It features high quality precision barometer movement with all metal parts. It is temperature compensated, has aneroid movement, and is fully adjustable.
The base is constructed of Brass and the opening port is made from a high quality alloy. Both of them are polished by hand and will stand up to even the harshest of conditions without ever tarnishing or discoloring. The hinged bezel has a beveled glass lens and screw-down fastener. 5 pieces of high quality stainless steel mounting screws are included. Available are the BO-2 Series that feature a 7" base and the BO-1 Series that features a 4.75" base.
These brass instruments are amongst the most stunning we have seen, rivaling those of similar clocks that cost many hundred dollars. This barometer mounts easily onto any wall or fits elegantly on one our wooden bases (available separately). |
